Grant Requests

The Peperzak PTG invites teachers, staff, parents, students, and administrators to help shape how we invest in our school community.

Our goal is to fund programs, resources, and experiences that create meaningful opportunities for Peperzak students and support their educational experience. If you have an idea that could enhance learning or strengthen our school community, we encourage you to submit a grant request.

2026–27 Grant Timeline

Applications will be accepted through September 30, 2026.

Members of the PTG Grant Committee will review all requests following the application deadline. Applicants will be notified of funding decisions by October 9, 2026.

Depending on the amount of funding awarded during this initial grant cycle, the PTG may offer an additional grant opportunity in early spring.

Grant Funding Guidelines

  • Grant funding is limited to $499 per teacher, per request.
  • Teachers and staff may submit a group request for a shared program, resource, or project. For group requests, the maximum award is based on the number of participating teachers, at up to $499 per teacher. For example, a group request submitted on behalf of three teachers may be awarded up to $1,497. The application should clearly identify all participating teachers and explain how the requested funding will be shared or used to benefit the group.
  • The PTG may award less than the full amount requested in order to make grant funding available to as many worthwhile requests as possible.
  • Please include applicable taxes and shipping costs in the total amount requested.

Selection Criteria

Grant requests will be considered based on how well they:

  • Align with Spokane Public Schools' learning objectives and goals.
  • Enhance student learning and experiences in an original or innovative way.
  • Provide experiential learning opportunities that support different learning styles.
  • Enhance students' ability to engage in the educational process.

Please be clear and concise in your application so the PTG Grant Committee can fully understand the purpose, impact, and value of your request.
