Academic Excellence

The PTG is proud to support programs that recognize and celebrate student achievement, effort, and academic excellence at Peperzak. Through funding for Honorable Puma celebrations and National Junior Honor Society membership and activities, the PTG helps create opportunities to acknowledge students for their hard work and accomplishments throughout the school year.

Honorable Puma Celebrations

The PTG provides funding to support the Honorable Puma (Honor Roll) celebrations that take place at the end of each semester. The Honorable Puma levels of achievement are:

  • Bronze (3.0-3.49)
  • Silver (3.5-3.79)
  • Gold (3.8-4.0)
  • Platinum (achieving 4.0 consecutive semesters)

To commemorate achieving Platinum, students are issued a Peperzak pennant with a "4.0" pin. For each consecutive 4.0 achievement, the student receives a gold bar.

Celebrations take place by grade level and include a special treat. These small celebrations create a positive incentive for students to stay focused and strive for excellence.

National Junior Honor Society

The PTG is proud to support Peperzak’s National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) by providing funding for the school’s annual NJHS membership and assisting with induction ceremony expenses.

The 2025–26 academic year marked an exciting milestone for Peperzak, as the school welcomed its first-ever class of NJHS inductees. We’re proud to help support a program that recognizes students for their achievements in scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship.
